This charming hidden gem is a Pet Friendly 2 bedroom/2 bath home located in the tranquil heart of Charlevoix’s preferred north side. The home is just three blocks to the public access of Lake Michigan’s sugar sand beach and dunes and .5 miles to downtown’s shopping, restaurants and other amenities, and yet it sits nestled away in a quiet neighborhood for you to enjoy all the aspects that Northern Michigan has to offer!
Upon entering the home you will feel the casual and modern sunny vibe of this completely renovated home, including hardwood floors and custom designed touches, including items incorporated from the family's local dairy farm. Special attention has also been paid to your backyard oasis, with professional landscaping and a beautiful deck partially shaded with a newly installed pergola. This home is newly furnished with accents accentuating the stunning colors of the area’s nearby lakes for your comfort and enjoyment. The home's character has also been preserved with extra care to feature some of the original built-in nooks and bookcases.
The master bedroom features a king bed with full ensuite including a 42” flat screen Smart TV. The guest bedroom features a queen bed and has access to a 2nd full bathroom that is also conveniently located for additional guests. The living room also offers a pull-out sleeper sofa. Also in the living room is a 65” TV, games and books to enjoy. As a BONUS Room option, the garage has also been converted to a guest room that features a twin/twin bunk and twin/full bunk, plus a 55” flat screen Smart TV.
Per the City of Charlevoix Short Term Rental Ordinance the home is only allowed to sleep 8 people. The main home accommodates up to 4 people with an additional 4 in the bonus room.
The common areas of the home encourages the family to gather and enjoy each other. The living room offers plenty of space for everyone, while the kitchen offers both a separate dining area (seating for 6 plus 3 more at the breakfast bar) with an open concept kitchen that flows to the dining area, where you will also find a gas fireplace. All of your standard service ware, cookware, plate ware, bar ware, etc.. is already provided in the home for you.
Outside you will find a fully fenced in private oasis in your backyard. With a doggie door from the garage to the fenced in backyard - you are also welcome to bring the family dog - as this home is happy to welcome your furry friend! With a grill and patio area available - the whole family can take in the Michigan summer evenings or have a safe and fun space for a good old fashioned snowball fight in winter!
During the winter months this home only has basic cable services and internet services will not available. The grill is also stored during the winter months.
NOTE: Due to short term rental and use occupancy licensing restrictions-This home has a STRICT maximum occupancy of 6. The property is flexible for up to 8 if the additional 2 guests are children under 13.
