The Arts and Culture Fund helps people in Charlevoix County have more chances to see and do art and culture. In the spring and fall, awards are given to non-profit groups that help people in Charlevoix County enjoy or participate in arts, music, dance, theater, and more. Grants from the Charlevoix County Community Foundation also help to keep what makes our community unique. Moreover, these grants have helped with oral history projects, the digitization of photos and historical documents, and the preservation of physical spaces in Charlevoix County.
To keep the fund going, it needs to be endowed. However, this means that it will keep growing, and it will be able to give money to programs and projects like these, now and in the future, too. Giving to the Arts and Culture Fund comes together, making a bigger difference for the community we love.
